On Saturday, July 12th, 2025, Events by Mesita marked a major milestone, ten years in the business of creating memories that last a lifetime. Held at an exclusive private theater, our 10-year anniversary celebration, Madea, Margaritas & Mesita, was a bold, beautiful tribute to the journey, the vision, and the community that helped shape us.
Inspired by the theatrical flair of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Destination Wedding, the evening was equal parts red carpet glam and feel-good fun, a true Events by Mesita signature.
An Experience, Not Just an Event
Our VIP guest list of 50 friends, supporters, and clients gathered for a night filled with:

This event was more than a party — it was a full-circle moment. From launching Events by Mesita with a few centerpieces and a dream, to becoming a trusted name in Atlanta for floral design, social and corporate events, and wedding magic, this night was a toast to growth, grit, and God’s grace.
It was also a statement: we’re just getting started.
What’s Next for Events by Mesita?
From here, we’re focused on scaling The Party Vault, growing our floral design services, and elevating Black Women in Weddings to new heights through immersive events and industry impact.
We’re also setting our sights on more destination work, national partnerships, and if the stars align, maybe even a Madea collaboration. Tyler Perry, we’re ready when you are.
